Home

Home to people can be different, but home to me is a wonderful thing. It is a place where I can feel loved. It’s a place where I can be myself. Sometimes I have not fully believed in myself, but now I have grown in a community that can accept who I am. When I was at school, I struggled to feel accepted. I would lay on my bed and refresh. It’s nice to know that even if you slam your door, my loving parents will still be there. One time my mom said, “ I’m not your punching bag, you can’t hit me with words, but like a punching bag, I’ll always come back for you.” So I’m thankful for the loving family and friends who have gotten me through hard times.
