Home isn't just a place I live in with a roof on top. It's a place where I make memories with my family. The couch where my family sit together, laugh, and smile. Home is the place memories happen, the backyard where my dad and I run around playing tag. The kitchen where I cook with my brother. Home is where I feel protected, loved by my family. I've lived in that house for my whole life. We eat together and tell jokes together.It's where I’m always loved, where the lights are on. Where you feel loved, the coffee is always ready, where my dog snuggles and sleeps. The dinner smells delicious. Home is a place I want to keep. You dust off your boots, walk through the door, and I take a deep breath, and I know my home.
