What is home?

Where is my home? In Shanghai, China or Canada. Home is’nt just a place to play. It’s a place where you are safe and connected to your family. A place where it’s safe to make mistakes. Where your mistakes fade. Every time I get home my corgi greets me at the door. The smell of dumplings fills the air. What if home is’nt a place, what if it’s an emotion or feeling. What if it’s both? I wonder in my head. It’s where memories are made and replaced. At the dinner table we tell stories and tails. For me home is a place that makes you feel warm and cozy. Home is where you get to spend family time. Home is where you are protected. Home is where your family members greet you. Home is where memories are made and replaced. Home is where you get to be yourself.
