Home is a Growing Tree

Home is a place to grow and it is a good place to let your thoughts out. Home is not the walls that stand it up and it’s not the roof, but it is the people that live inside. Home is so fun to be with the people that live with me. Unfortunately, it is not all the best because my mom was diagnosed with kidney disease. Although it might not always be the best, it is so fun and cool. My brother Jackson can always play with me and my house is so awesome because I can play all the time. My dog Zeus and I have a lot of good adventures and he is like a warm soft blanket on a cold winter day. In my warm cozy home, I sit beside my warm wood stove with my dog and a cup of hot cocoa. I also feel safe that I can always let my thoughts out to Mom and Dad. At home, I am able to help them and they enjoy the person that I am. When I come home from school I smell the warm dinner in the oven and my house smells like warm food all the time, thanks to my parents. I appreciate my mom a lot because she isn't feeling good but I love how I am able to help her. I feel really great when I can help my mom with stuff and it's so great to be me and I appreciate me for who I am. Thank you!
