Brighter Days

I love my home, it makes me feel bright. I tuck myself in, 9 o’clock each night, I look outside on bright days, It’s beautiful! I see the sun rays. But sometimes, I stop, and I start to think. Not everyone has what I have, I think. I realized some people’s homes are on the street, And I worry about my room not being neat. Realizing this made me sad and blue, I thought more, and there’s much I can do! Since some people don’t have a place to call home, I’ll think and write a helpful poem! I’ll try to help in simple ways, I’ll help people have brighter days! Everyone can show an act of care, We can all make the world more fair!
