Thanks for a home

Most people think that home is a building you live in. But to me, home is where my family and friends are. Even when I'm away from my house, I’m still at home when I’m near someone I love. In fact, home can be anything you want it to be. It can be fresh baked cookies your mom made for you, or a favorite hobby! At home, I can be myself. I can make mistakes and learn from them. I can walk around in underwear for all I care!!! I feel I can only be myself when I’m at home. I am lucky to have a home as good as mine. In some homes, kids can’t truly be themselves. Their parents might be mean to them. Some kids don’t even have a home! I feel everyone should have a good home.
