The Meaning Of Home

Home is where I feel safe. It's where I can curl up on the couch after a long day, it’s where my family sits around the table sharing jokes or talking about our day! At home, it’s where I can make mistakes and learn from them! Home is the smell of my mom cooking in the kitchen, the sound of pots and pans clinking. It’s my room, where I can think, read and be myself! My room is my own place where I feel safe and comfortable! Home isn’t just walls and a roof, it’s the memories we make inside, like movie nights on the couch with blankets and popcorn and celebrating birthdays, and decorating for holidays! Home is where I laugh with my friends, who feel like family! Where I know my family will always be there for me, no matter what! Sometimes, home is loud and messy, sometimes it’s quiet and peaceful, but no matter what - it’s always home! Home doesn't just have to be a building that you live in, it can be a place where you feel safe, where you laugh with your friends, where you talk and joke! Home isn’t just a building, it’s where you feel love and belonging! It’s where happy memories are made, even in the smallest things!
