This is Home
I walk into my home after a long day at school. It is always good to be in a home with love and memories. After a struggle with my key that never fits, I walk through the door and take a seat and lay on my big couch that never seems to fit.
When I walk down the halls I look at the diplomas all across the walls that tell a story. Each and every one. In the bathroom I look all around. I see the electric toothbrushes that me and my sister begged for and the minty toothpaste that makes me want to puke.
When I'm done, I walk downstairs through the kitchen where I eat and cook with my family. Then I decide to go to my living room where I have spent hours upon hours playing games with my friends and family. The movies and shows I have watched down here are endless. The amount of times I have sat down with my phone and watched a TV show for hours is unmatched.
I walk out the door and turn to walk upstairs, but I see my dad’s room with my Xbox, all the memories yelling at my screen after a death. When I walk upstairs I head into my room with my bed, my posters and my mini hoop, which each have special memories.
This is my home, and I'm thankful for Habitat For Humanity for making homes for other people so they can have their own special memories.
