A True Home

Home is a place where you feel safe. It's a place where you feel cozy, comfy, and loved. It's a feeling inside your heart. Home can be the people in your home, the furniture, or the special things inside, a home is not a house. A house is not a home. A house is the protection of your home. If you went to your friend's house, that's their house to you because that's where they live, but to them it's their home and they have that special feeling inside. When you're on vacation or something, and you have that feeling inside, you miss being home. That’s you missing your home. If you’re at a sleepover and you have trouble sleeping, sometimes you think that you just want to be in your own bed. That’s you missing home. For some people home might be their dad’s house and their mom’s house, or their home is their grandma's house. If you move to a new house at first, you’re going to miss your old home, but then you're going to get used to it. Because you live there, and the same furniture is there, the same people, and the same special things. That's what I think the true meaning of home is.
