My Home

A home is a place filled with love, kindness and respect. A home is a place with people laughing and having fun, with your family and friends. A home is a friend that keeps me warm and safe. Once your home is a friend, your home will always be your friend. When I feel sad my home cheers me up with a “hip hip hooray!” Then I feel better and I get up and then I say “thank you for being my safe place.” My friends and family are always with me, if I need help I will ask them with glee. When I go out in the dark I see the stars shining bright at me. I make a wish and hope it will come true, then I will go home and I will snuggle in my bed. When I am sleeping my wish will come true. When I wake up I wake up with glee. My home will always be my safe place.Thank you Habitat for Humanity, for turning people’s houses into homes. Always Love Your Home
