Home In Spirit

Home, a place that is interpreted in different ways. Some people think of it as a person, place, or a thing. There are endless possibilities for what home can be. For me, home is somewhere I feel safe, secure, and stable. It is a place where I worry less and I can be who I am. I am sure others think of that too, right?... A couple of months ago, I moved houses, it felt unfamiliar at first, I thought that my old house was home, but I was surprised because after a while I am starting to get the same feeling of home as with my current house. I felt safe, secure, and stable. Something I noticed is that if you spend time in a place and have a deeper connection to it, it is like you will feel a sense of home or belonging. I am born in Canada, but because my family and relatives stayed in the Philippines for a good part of their lives, and I went there when I was three, that is why I have a deeper connection to the Philippines. I get the sense of home when I am in the Philippines, but it takes a while to get there it feels like one hundred years. I described home as a place where I do not need to worry, a place I have a connection to, or spent time in. but ultimately… it is up to you.
