Home is Where the Heart Is

Home is where the heart is. Who said home had to be where you live? In my opinion, as long as you feel safe and loved, it's a home. Everyone's home is different, some peoples homes are small and some peoples homes are very big. I like to believe that I have more than one home. I know it sounds weird, but just think about it. Aren't there places that you feel safe and loved? Maybe it's a family member's house or a friend's house, it really doesn't matter as long as you feel at home. Sometimes your home can start to feel more like a house. You might be wondering what the difference is between a home and a house; well as I said in the beginning, a home isn't a physical place it's a feeling. But on the other hand a house is a physical place, it’s most likely the place that you live in. Keep in mind that not everyone lives in a house. People who live in apartments will not call their home a house, because the word “house” is typically used to describe a building with many floors and high ceilings. So yet again let me say, home isn't where you are, it's who you're with, what you feel and most importantly, home is where the heart is.
