The Meaning of Home

A home is where you live. Your family lives with you. It is more than a house because it is a place that has memories and traditions. You have meals with your family and parties too. My home is special because it makes me feel safe and happy. My favourite part of my home is my basement. I see my climber and the couch. I feel happy and sleepy and I can hear laughter. I smell food coming from upstairs. When my friend comes over we play with cars in the basement and have crash-up derbys. It’s fun! Everyone needs a house because you need shelter from the rain. Home gives a safe place to play and gives a place to rest. Home is where your family gives love to you and they protect you. Everyone deserves a home.
