The Place I call Home

My home is great. At home I smell the tasty food being made in the kitchen. I smell the perfume that I spray to much in my room. In my front yard and backyard I smell fresh air and the smell of food coming out of the windows. At home I taste yummy food. I taste the food when it is being made so I know if it is to hot. I taste the yummy snacks in my pantry. At home I hear the TV playing down stairs. I hear my mom’s voice waking me up in the morning because I sleep in a lot. The last thing I hear is the voice of my parents talking down stairs and the creaking of the stairs when they go upstairs to sleep. At home I see my bed waiting for me every day. I see the food on the table when i'm hungry. The last thing I see is my parents when they tuck me into bed. At home I touch food so I can eat it. I touch the comfy grey couch in my living room. I hug my mom and dad every day and night. I hug my parents because I love them and they hug me because they love me. We will never leave each other. My home is a home. Not a house. Love makes a house turn into a home. My home is awesome.
