What Home Means to Me

What Home Means To Me To me home isn’t just a building it’s where memories and loved ones are. It’s where promises can be made or broken. It’s also wherever you are. Let me expand on those. To start I’m going to compare a home to a house. A house is a building or something you see, like a couch or a lamp. But a home is where you can feel safe, and loved, or relaxed. Now that you have an idea about a home, I'm going to share what home means to me. First, to me home is my happy place. It’s where I can be whoever I want without worrying about what anyone else thinks. It’s where my family and I can celebrate events like birthdays or holidays. Home is also somewhere where I can express myself to others, when I’m at home I feel free. Second, my home is something nobody can take away from me, because my home is wherever my family are. For all I know we could be halfway across the world but It would still be my home. As long as I’m with my family it’s home. Wherever we are we make memories that will last a lifetime. In Conclusion, home is where my family are, because without them I wouldn’t be me, and I wouldn’t have a home. So thank you to my family and to everyone else that have helped me along the way.
