Home is family

Home to me is like my family. It takes care of me, my parents, and my golden retriever! We also take care of it in the same way. We polish it on the inside and outside. Although we built it with bricks and steel, we built it with a lot of love and care. We made memories with our home that were too good for a camera to capture. It is the guardian that shields us from harm’s way. Our home is the safekeeper of our belongings, like a millionaire to his hard-earned money. When I'm near it I feel loved, like my whole family is here, even though they are countries away. Whenever I’m in it, I feel warm, like a blanket on a snowy day. Sadly, some unfortunate people are unable to experience these feelings and have these memories. Some people have a hole in their hearts, which was meant for a home they couldn’t afford. Furthermore, without our home, our family would be broken down, we wouldn’t have protection from harm, and we’d have nowhere to eat or sleep, so I'm very grateful to have a warm home. We need to help the unfortunate individuals who are missing their heart-warming home. The world is depending on us!
