Home Is Not a House

Home is not a house. Home is a community. Home is made of memories. Home is friendship. Home is family and love. Home is the place you go every single night to eat and sleep. Home is not a house. Home is family and love. One time, I was crying because I scraped my knee, and my parents comforted me until I felt better. I knew that I would always be part of my family, in my cozy home. Home is NOT a house. Home is made of memories. One memory I’ve had is when I was lying down, and I was trying to go to sleep, but I couldn’t. Me and my dad listened to his audiobook that he recorded until I fell asleep. I knew I was safe and that I would be in my cozy home. Home is not a house. Home is friendship. My brother and I love building snow forts together outside. I know we’ll always have each other’s backs. That is why I think home is not a house.
