Letter to My 11-Year-Old Self

Dear future self, As a nine year old this is what home means to me. Home is safe because my family is there to protect me. One time someone kept banging on the door. I was so scared but my mom said it’s going to be ok. I am here with you. You are used to home, because you go there alot. You know where everything is because it is familiar. Old memories mean a lot to me because some memories you have to remember even if they are emotional, like when my fish died and when my dog Zoey passed away from a sickness. When I had a performance for my family, me and my sister Tori did a choreography and put on music. It made me feel so excited. It was also so fun. That was one of my best memories. Love, Ellie
