A home is not a house

A home is somewhere special. It is a place filled with memories. My favorite thing to do in it is playing games with my family. I also like to build forts with my sister and my home is perfect for forts. Every time I wake up the smell of breakfast in the air makes me want to cheer! The reason it makes me want to cheer is because it smells soooooo good! Especially when my dad makes pancakes and eggs. After breakfast my family and I usually go to my basketball game. When I get back home my dogs start running down the stairs and I feel so relieved to be back home. A home is somewhere you should be comfortable and be able to feel safe like me! I hope everyone feels the same way about their home like I do. A house was just a building to me but thank you habitat for humanity for letting me realize that it is someone else's home.
