What home means to me!

Home is a place where I feel joy and where I can feel loved. I love my home so much because of the people in my home that make me so happy and grateful to be in this life. Home isn't about the items or the furniture, it's about your family and the pets who love you so much and can’t wait to see you when you get home. Maybe you have two dads or two moms, maybe you have a mom and a dad. They gave you this life, a nice home to live in and a bed to sleep in. So maybe next time you see them you should say thank you for giving me this life and a nice shelter to live in. Home is where you feel safe, a place where you feel like you can call home. It’s a place filled with memories everywhere you look or maybe a place where you can start to grow new memories. Home is where you watch movies all snuggled up with your family eating popcorn. Where your mom and dad tuck you in at night. Where you fake sleep in the car so your parents will bring you inside. Where you come in after being in the cold snow for so long and finally getting hot chocolate to drink. I'm so grateful to live and to continue to grow up in a nice home with food and a bed. Thank you habitat for humanity because now other people who can’t afford homes will now get a home to make new memories.
