Why I Love Home

Home is a warm cozy hug that makes me feel safe every day. When I’m at home I feel happy and loved. When it is cold outside and we are all feeling down we sit at the kitchen table and me and my family tell our stories of our day. We laugh, we smile, we cry, while our dog Gus puts his head on my lap. Home is photo book that stores our memories, from my first birthday pictures to the silly putty that I dropped in my room and is stuck in the carpet. Home is my safe space where I can open up, be myself and everyone understands me. Home is a magical place, but it wouldn’t be what it is without my family.
