HOME IS MORE THAN JUST A ROOF

Home is where I feel warm and comfortable like a barrier blocking all my worries from the outside world. It’s where I can be my true self. Home feels so peaceful and quiet, a place to rest after a long-tired day. When someone asks me about my home, I remind myself of the safe welcoming place that I live in. My favourite place is my room, the chilling space where my family lets me be. When I’m at home, I’m free from having to laugh at a joke someone tells me I don’t find funny, home is just so peaceful. For me home reminds me of my mom’s cooking or the plants scattered across the balcony floor. Home is the place with all my favourite books and movies. When I’m home I almost never feel rushed or pressured. Home is the place I sleep, play and even hang out with my family. Home is the place my brother draws, my mom makes dinner and my dad works. Home is the place I love. This is why home is more than a roof.
