Home is Powerful

Home is not just a place, it is a powerful home. It is where I feel safe in my room, but it is not just my room. Down the hall I hear my family chatting, their chatting echoes up and down the stairs. When I go down the stairs, I hear laughter which I can not hear upstairs. When I go closer to the dinner table, I hear the oven cooking, plates clicking and the microwave beeping. I can smell food that is steaming hot and the tv yelling across the hall. When I run across the house, I feel fresh air blowing across my face. I can smell the fantastic food miles away and miles away. When we eat, I taste glory. I hear laughter, I smell the delicious food coming from all angles. When we are done, we play a board game, there is laughter coming from everyone, everywhere and everybody. When we are done, we go play on my iPad, so does everyone else. I played with my sister, we played Roblox for about 30 minutes to 1 hour after we had family time. I felt nice because it is raining. We watched a movie, it was about a kid who wanted to go to space and leave Earth, but he didn’t leave Earth. Home is power, home is more than power, it is powerful. I think of home as my friend, my best friend that ever lived. Home is the best, better than anything. Home is powerful.
