More Than Just a Building

Home is not just a building that you live in, it’s more than that. Home is where you feel safe, home is where you are accepted for who you are. It’s the place that can make you feel happy even after a hard day. Home is also the comforting smells that you smell when someone dear to you is cooking something in the kitchen. It’s the taste of your favourite dish your mom or dad makes on Friday nights. Home is the laughter that fills your heart. It’s the happy feeling you get when someone you love calls your name. Home isn’t always happy though, it’s where you grieve, where you cry. Where you let out your emotions. Home is where your happiest and saddest memories are. Where happy meets sad.
