Meaning of Home

Home is my happy place and my resting place.Home feels safe and secure. It feels cozy and warm. My bed feels soft and comfortable. When I go to bed I feel really secure because I can hear my family downstairs and the soft hum of my fan. I feel like crying joyful tears when I come home because I come to a place that I am loved and cared for some people don’t have that. If I did not have a home I would feel scared because the future would feel insecure to me because I don’t know what the future holds. Insecure because I have nothing to rely on. I would feel cold with no blankets or a fireplace. I would be hungry with nothing to eat. I would feel sad that when I come home from work I can't come to a place that I can call mine. But I would feel happy for those who have a place to call home and be secure. I love Habitat for Humanity for this reason,because they build places that people can call home. And this is what home means to me.
