One Life Two Homes

Home is a place to feel love not hate, not invisible love. My homes are filled with love from left to right. It's a place where I can cry alone and feel all my feelings,and it lets me express all my emotions. Some homes don't feel safe but some do. Some homes feel soft and nice while others don’t. Home is supposed to feel loving and caring, and not like a war zone every day. Home should smell sweet and clean, like a comforting hot coco. What it shouldn't smell like is dust and dirt flying in the air every day you walk in. Your home shouldn't feel like a place to hide or feel invisible, it should feel like a place to be yourself and feel safe. Home should sound like soft soothing words like love and passion but not yelling cruel words that hurt like punches in the gut. Safe homes are the ones that are comforting and soft like the soft soothing words and the sweet words that help you sleep at night. Unsafe homes don't feel safe or comforting instead it has cruel words that sting with every word.This home doesn't have the sweet smells it should have. At night in this home you might not be able to sleep at night knowing it's unsafe. Home is supposed to be the existing place to go after school, you shouldn't count down the hours until you have to go home and get yelled at. This is an example of what I think safe and unsafe homes are like, I know this because I have been in both before. The End
