Meaning of Home

A house is a building with bricks and walls, windows and a door, but a home is much different. A home is a place to welcome your family and friends, the hungry and the poor. The Bible also talks about welcoming strangers into your home in 1 Peter 4:9 where it says to “welcome people into your home and don't grumble about it.” A home should be a place of rest. When you get home, you should be able to take a break from work. A home should have joy when you're with your family and friends. Home should be a place you can be yourself. Everyone should have a home.
