Home Is in Your Heart

I love my home. My home is a home that is filled with love and laughter. A home filled with memories that we will cherish forever. It is a place where you spend time with family snuggling, playing, and dancing. My home is built with family and friends, and helps us give so much love, kindness, and support to one another. My home is a place where I feel safe and trusted. It is a place where I can express myself and be creative without feeling shy. I perform for my family and practise acting and singing as much as I want to. As a family we work through the good and bad, tough and rough. Supporting and trusting one another creates a special bond that we will keep in our hearts forever. My home is not just four walls; home is where my heart is. Every time we walk in the door my big, goofy black dog Bo greets us with excitement and a million kisses. I feel excited the moment I walk in knowing that I get to hug him back. My heart immediately feels that I am in the right place knowing that I am home. When you have love, laughter, safety and trust you have a home. Supporting Habitat for Humanity helps ensure that they can build affordable housing so everyone can have a place where they feel loved. I am so grateful that I get to have such a special place to call home.
