Home is a Happy Place

Home is a happy place to me because. Whenever I walk in the door it feels like a warm hug. I know just where to hang my bag up. Then I see the window right when I walk in. I take a deep breath in and smell my home. Then I go and say hi to my dad and eat a snack. While I walk down the hallway and feel the wall it brings back memories of me when I was young and crawling down that same hallway. Home is a safe place to be because you have a roof over your head and you feel safe because you are with your family. Another thing is a home is a place that you live in. A house is a place with just furniture and that you're not connected to. This project is very important because there's some people that don't have any homes and live on the street. And some people have homes that basically aren't homes with no floors, dirt floors, smoke coming out of their oven and stove. This project is very important because it taught me a lot about home difference between a house and a home. Habitat for Humanity is one of the kindest organizations that I have ever seen and some of the kindest people in the world. I love that you guys do that for everybody, that is so kind!
