What Home Means to Me

Hello, my name is Angus. Today I will be reading my book to you so let's dive in. Home is like a fun game night with your family. Home is a comfortable place that's like a big cozy bed that you jump into after school. Home is my safe place and home is protective. Home is like my Lego building base. A lot of creativity goes into it. My parents are there to take care of me. Home is a special feeling everyday when you return. Home is a special place where you sit down and have fun spending time with your family. Home has that special feeling for everybody. It is the special smell of your house or what you see or what you do when you are at home. But home is not just a place that you live, it can be a place that you spend time in. It can be your family, it can be your happy place, it can be your fun time space. This book was a fundraiser for the meaning of home for people who don't have homes or can't afford homes or need extra space. It's a special fundraiser for everybody who needs somewhere safe to live and it is very important!
