The meaning of home

My home feels like a warm hug when I get home from school knowing where to put my backpack after school and knowing my family will be there to take care of me. My favorite thing about my home is my backyard with my trampoline. I feel grateful for having a backyard because most people don't have backyards. Something else that feels important is coloring with my family or smelling the delicious food they made for me. Not everyone has a safe place to call home but I think everyone should because I want them to feel safe and loved in a cozy home they can count on. Also it makes me feel sad that not everyone has a safe home. It makes me feel grateful for having a safe home that I know I can count on. That is why this is an important project.
