THERE'S A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A HOME AND A HOUSE

A home isn't just a building, it's a place where I feel secure and safe. It's a place where I feel most like myself and where I can really express myself. Whenever I walk into the kitchen I can always smell the delicious meals my dad makes for us. Like the cheese melting on top of the fries and the smell of the gravy on poutine. There’s the smell of the sizzling ground beef that's soon going to go on tacos. I will never forget the memories that we all make together. It's like they all are just captured in my brain and never leave. Some of the moments I love best are those that we all create together. When we all cozy up by the fireplace and watch a movie while we hear the raindrops on the rooftop. Also, when we all sit at the dinner table saying how our day went, sharing laughter. My home is where I'm most excited to be, other than my dance studio. In my home there is love, comfort, care, and so much more. I love my family and Habitat for Humanity for making the world a better place!
