Home Isn’t A Place

Home isn't a place Home is where I feel safe Share things, And make great memories everyday. Home makes me comfortable and cozy. When I come home from school, There's always something new to eat. My mom cooks delicious things such as Pizzas, burgers, and other delicious smells. It was hard moving from Pakistan But Canada makes me feel like it's my first country and my first home. Home is all about laughter and fun, which money can’t buy. Home to me is all about my parents and how they always ask me when I come home from school and they say how was your day? I answer with every little detail. At home you have photo frames of the memories you made, But memories don’t have to be pictures on your wall They can be in your everyday life You remember them and you say it again when someone asks. Home has lots of important stuff, But the most important thing to me is not how big the house is or how it looks from the outside It's my family. My parents teach me different things about my culture while we laugh and have fun. So it's nothing about the shape or size, it's about what you have in there. Home isn’t the house you live in, home is a place where you grew up. It is a place where you make fun memories and share every second of my life with my family. All the houses in my city Are mostly made with bricks and stones But out of all of the houses My house is extraordinary Cause it is made of love Instead of bricks and stones. I always have someone to talk to or express my feelings to my family. I am so lucky to have such a beautiful house to live in, While some people don’t even have one. Thank you, Habitat for Humanity for helping lots of people Keep up the good work.
