What Home Means to Me

Home is a place where I can do anything I want and feel comfortable. My parents are the foundation of my life. Teaching me values like honesty, kindness and hard work . Always encourage me to chase my dreams. They balance discipline with fun. Creating a home where we share laughter, meals, and adventure . They are my heroes and best friends. One of my family members is my pet cat Lisa. She is a fluffy, white, cute cat with green eyes. Who brings so much joy in my family. She is a playful and gentle cat. She loves chasing her toy mice, napping in the sunbeams and curling up on my lap. Making her a member of my family. Our traditional festival is much different than others. Our tradition is Eid-ul-Fitre. On Eid-ul-Fitre we muslims fast for 30 days. We start at 5:00 am to 7:00 pm . After 7:00 pm we can eat anything we want. I have a special corner in my room. I put my study table in that corner . My study table is the heart of my quiet corner in my room. A wooden surface that is perfectly positioned by the window, letting in soft light and a gentle breeze. It’s a space personalized with a bright lamp in the corner and a shelf above it. My essential textbook and novels are neatly stacked. On the upper part of my table I keep my note books, pens, pencils, and my laptop. A wonderful spot for deep focus and discovering new things. I feel very comfortable and safe. Since my parents are there they always take care of me. I can play with my parents and pets, which always create great moments in my life. At my home I can do anything I want, like I can share my beautiful moments with my parents and they always support me. I can watch TV, read books and sometimes play video games. I have my own bedrooms with beautiful decorations like a flower vase and some great paintings. So I feel peace and lots of love in place very much. My home is very special to me . All those things make our home unique. I am glad God gave this family to me. By Fawzia
