Home Is Here For Me

Home is always there for us. No matter how hard of a day you’ve had, you can always come back to it and feel comforted, safe and loved. Home can be anywhere you want as long as you can express yourself. It could be a place that you’re just staying in briefly, or a place you’ve been in as long as you can remember. To me, home should be more than just a roof over your head. To some people home could mean coming into a warm place with family and friends, having a nice meal with laughter and games or a place just to bond in and have quiet time. My bedroom is another place where I feel safe. I can just relax and watch a show or if I have a rough day I can lie down on my bed and cry. Or I can laugh to myself and not feel pressure to do anything. Sometimes I wish that I lived somewhere else if I don’t think my parents are being fair, but at the end of the day I’m happy I live right where I am. My family is the biggest part of my home, it influences me and how I live. I hope you like my story of what home means to me.
