Home is Where our Story Begins

To me the meaning of home is to be yourself. Home is extremely important to me, and not just me, you, and everyone else, too. It is a place where you can feel your emotions without feeling like you need to be embarrassed or ashamed. If I had to choose a couple objects to describe the meaning of home those would be… an enchanting book, a box of art supplies, delightful music, and a magical photo album. Firstly, books make me feel safe. They guide me through life, something to learn from and look up to; every night they conceal me in their world of imagination and suspense where anything can happen. Secondly, I would say that a box of art supplies would make me feel creative. If there is any time I’m not in a good mood or had a dreadful day, I’ll just grab some art supplies and start creating; art is just a wonderful way to express your emotions without doing any harm. Thirdly, music gives me a chance to relax and let all my worries fly away. I enjoy listening to music while I’m folding my laundry or doing chores; music brings me a peaceful workspace. Sometimes I’ll just listen to the birds up high in the trees, that’s the type of music I savour the most - natural music. Finally, a photo album brings back the best of memories. I love to open a photo album and slowly flip through the pages of loving and beautiful memories. Some of the memories have something sad about them or really funny, but in the end, they are all such incredible snapshots of life. Ultimately a home is not built by wood or bricks, but with the memories and love shared within it. No matter where I go, I know that I can always return to this place where I am loved and can truly be myself, untouched by the judgment of the outside world. Home is where our story begins.
