Meaning of Home to Me

Home to me is like a cozy shelter that makes me and my family feel safe and loved. My home encourages happy thoughts and memories and does not encourage anger. My home is safe and is a perfect habitat for me and my family to thrive. I think kids should grow up in a house that, within its walls, holds good memories and on its floors, encourages new ones to be made. A home is a place of laughter and happiness for everyone who steps in. Houses, in general, are a natural habitat for humans, so when I see people without houses I feel sad, and I think many, many more people can agree with me. I am lucky to live with great parents, but I sometimes feel guilty because of all the children who aren't as lucky as me. I want to win this contest so the money can go to homeless shelters and orphanages. I do not want any money for my personal benefit. I think every child should have a home.
