The Meaning of Home

A home isn't just four walls, it's a place where you should feel safe and don't have to box in your emotions. If you really think about it, your home and a fish tank aren't that different from each other. Both fish tanks and houses make you feel safe, cozy and warm. At home you should feel comfortable like a cat taking a nap by a nice warm fire on a winter night. Your home should provide shelter to protect you from rough weather, predators, and any threats. It's a perfect place to have fun and connect with your friends and family. Your home is a space where you can be yourself and not be judged, and even create long lasting memories together. A house is like a classroom… but in a good way. Both serve as a safe place to learn and expand your mind growth. It's a space to learn manners, rights and wrongs, communication skills, respect, and how to take care of yourself and others. Families can also teach you about different religions and beliefs which helps kids understand different people and their way of life. This makes the world a better place. A home should supply food, shelter, warmth, clothes, privacy, and a place to relax. Family is one of the most important things to have in a household. Your family should support you in stuff like your interests, emotions, needs, decisions, learning, what you put your time towards and being you. Your house should be full of love for your family and friends. Everyone has small fights every now and then but you should let each other know you will always have each other's back in rough situations. I am very thankful to have a safe and cozy place to sleep at night. Anyone can have a house but only love creates a home.
