What Home Means to Me

Home can mean a lot to different people, but home means way more than just wi-fi, TV, screens and more. Home is my safe space and I’m very grateful that I have a space to relax. I have a warm bed to sleep in every night. When I get home, I’m always greeted by my moms cooking, which smells very good! Also, when I walk into my home on my moms week, I always look forward to seeing my cat Lizzy, and my mom of course, it’s the same on my dad’s week too! When I go upstairs, I see a bunch of pictures of me and my brother Teddy and my cat because she is the princess of my home! Overall, I’m grateful to have a warm space to sleep, play games with my family, and a space to relax and eat with my family! Home can mean a lot, but it means love, memories, and a place to spend time with my family and make new memories! Thank you, Habitat for Humanity, for giving everyone a chance to have a space to sleep, eat, and make memories! Sincerely, Olivia
