Home isn't Always a Place

Home isn’t always a place; home is where I go to feel safe. Home is where I can go and spend time with my family. Home is where I go to play with my dog, Maisy. Home is where I go to play with my friends. Home is where I can go after a bad day at school. Home is where I go to have delicious home cooked food. I can go home to be with my brothers and play games. Home is a place where I can relax on the couch and watch hockey. Home is where I go to sleep at night. Home is where I go when I feel sick to get medicine. I go home to shoot hockey pucks. Home is where I go to feel love. Home is where I belong. To me home is my nana and papa’s farm in PEI. Home is where my family is. This is what home means to me. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for providing people with safe and affordable homes.
