The Meaning of Home

What is the meaning of home? The meaning of home could mean really anything. For some, it could be just a place you live in with a roof, a few walls and windows, and a place to put your stuff. For me though, it’s more than that. Home is a place where memories are made, family meets, and bonds. Home is a place where you can be warm, comfortable, and always feel welcome. You can have pictures from when you were a baby, to now. A fridge, for example, stores food that you can eat, but it is also a place that keeps photos. Instead of throwing them in a closet that almost never gets used, you almost use a fridge every day, so you can see yourself or trips from when you were younger. Home is not just a building with one room though, it has many. The living room has a tv, so you can watch shows with those you love. The kitchen is where people, or you make tasty food to eat. Whether you like baking or cooking, you could do both. Your bedroom has more than a bed; it is a place you can go if you're frustrated, angry, or sad. Home is where arguments, fun, and life take place. Home is more than just a place; it’s a building full of memories. I’ve learned a lot from the meaning of home while writing this. Theres’s people who don’t live in the proper conditions for them, for example, people in wheelchairs who don’t have any way to move up and down stairs, 2 people living in the same house, or other reasons. That is the meaning of home in my eyes.
