What Does Home Mean?

Home is not just a place where I get whatever I want. It’s a place that keeps me safe and secure. Home is where you start making memories when you just moved in a new house. Home is a place where it allows me to be me. Home is where I could let out all my emotions sad, mad, bad, happy, and embarrassed. Home means doing whatever I want. Home even means singing funny songs and doing funny dance moves. Home feels like coming from a sleepover and seeing my sisters waiting for me. When I enter I see my sister screaming and saying hi to me. Then she runs with all her speed and starts hugging me. Home feels like walking home with my cousin from school and when I open the front door I see my mom standing there waiting for me. I hug my mom with my bag on. Home tastes like the tasty dal and sabji that my mom and aunty make from beans and vegetables. Home smells like the love that my family spreads when they're happy and excited. At home I spend quality time with my family. I play so many funny games like karem board. Last, I’m so thankful to Habitat for Humanity for making cozy homes for people in need!!!
