The Meaning of Home

Home isn't just any building. Home is where we laugh, make memories, even if they're good, or bad. Home is where I can feel shielded and loved. Home is like an enormous fluffy cloud wrapped all around me. Home is like warm hugs filled with kindness and laughter. Home is filled with smells of cooking delightful meals right in MY kitchen, right in MY home. Home is where we sit at the dining room table and share about our day, right in MY home. My brother's room is filled with hockey sticks, pucks, nets. My room is just FILLED with "Jelly Cats" SCATTERED everywhere. When I come home from school every day, the FIRST thing I do is run up to my 3 cats and 2 dogs. So, if you ever think of your home, it isn't just a house with four walls and a roof, it was a house, but you filled it with your love and made it a home. Thank you Habitat for humanity for making me understand what home means to me. And I think everyone deserves a home.
