Home is my safe place, my place where my family meets and laughs their hearts out, telling stories while eating. We always play board games, and when we play crib, whoever wins gets to play a winning song. I love my house, and not only do I instantly think of it as home, but I also think of it as my place where we celebrate holidays and have the best day ever, or where I have the awesomest sleeps ever in my bed. It is where, as soon as I lie down, my head sinks into my pillows. I can pull my blankets up to my chin. I also love my living room so much; we play games with my dog by passing her toy around, or when we have our fireplace on in the winter, my sister and I sip hot cocoa while talking. I also love when my mom, my dad, my sister, and I watch a late-night movie, full of laughs and joy. I absolutely adore my backyard. We have a trampoline that holds so many memories, like when my friends and I play random games that we have just invented. I also have a hot tub in my backyard. It’s so fun. It’s been a while since my whole family went in all at once, just because we're normally busy, but when we do go in. It's the awesomest thing ever! We make fun drinks and have late-night talks with the hot tub lights on. It’s almost like a party in there. My garage, I love it so much. I always see my dad working on something in there, but we also have a hockey net with pucks, and a softball net with balls. We always shoot, pitch, or bat in there. It’s so fun because I know every time I go in there, I get better at all my sports. Although I’m very fortunate to have all these things, none of this is home without my family.
