Love Makes a Home

My home isn’t just a place. It’s where you get welcomed with open arms. When you step in you feel the warmth of an amazing family and kindness flood through your bones. The kitchen and dining room is where amazing food is made with love, laughter and friendship. We talk about our days laughing, loving and learning. We play many games such as Gin Rummy and Beat the Heat. The living room where plants line the walls giving us clean air to breathe and spreading beauty throughout our home. Photos in frames remind us of amazing memories, capturing frozen moments throughout our days. The backyard where we play and laugh. The garden where we grow fruits and vegetables that taste amazing and fresh. We play in the sunshine, laughing, bouncing and running. Where we have campfires we roast marshmallows and make smores, talking and having a good time. In the winter we build snowmen and have snowball fights. The snow shines like crystals and shimmers diamonds, playing and laughing. My family is like my sports team. They support me and cheer me up when I’m down. They cheer me on when I'm doing something really hard or trying something new. All they expect is for me to try my best and work as hard as I can. My pets are like playful puppies. They're warm, cuddly and soft. My family says it doesn't matter what people tell you to do, let your heart choose your path.
