Home is more than just a place

Home is where you feel warmth in your chest and happiness in your stomach. Feeling loved and loud. Home I where my cat waits for me, purring loud, waiting to be pet. Home is where I feel cozy and safe, when I am in my room or in the living room. Home is where I see the light of technology in the night—loud and quiet depends on the time. Home is where I celebrate my birthday, where all my friends come to say hi. Home is where me and my family sleep peacefully in the night, snoring happily, it just feels right. Home is where I can read a book, reading happily and peacefully. Home is where I can call my friends, telling them jokes and secrets, playing games and listening to music. Home is where I can get comfy and cozy on the couch, watching movies until bedtime. Home is where my family is there to comfort me if I’m sad or celebrate me if I’m happy. Home is where I crochet in my bed, making stuffies, blankets and clothes. Home is my home—it’s where I belong. Home is where I stay and I go, but no matter what I call it home.
