What Home Means to Me

Home is a special place; its warmth is like my dog. The memories is like a yearbook that we’ve created together as a family. Coming home to your pets it is the best it’s like they’re always happy to see you because they loved you when you got them the first day. The days when we lost power created the best memories though losing power can be scary sometimes, you already know your safe because you at home with your family. The smell fire from the candles that lit up the room, and it smelt amazing. And the one thing that makes my home feel like a home is my family, home always feels different without your family it doesn’t even feel like a home without them it just feels empty even when your pets aren’t there, they all make it so special without them it feels wrong. House and home are so different your home creates memories like baking with your mom or dad well, just family in general and house well you can’t really create memories there because it not the same your family GONE your pets LEFT its just you that’s why most people love their home as it has their family I’ve, when I moved homes I felt sad because that was where I’ve been most of my life it was my tiny apartment that’s where my dad lived and my dad eventually got a girlfriend and after a bit we moved in with her so I wasn’t that close any more we moved all the way to Moncton and we stayed there for a bit then a year later we moved again and my younger sister had to swap schools she moved away from her daycare and school. When we moved it was pre-summer, we still had school it was just about a week until summer break when summer break started, we were almost fully moved in I still had to share my room but it was bigger so it was a bit nicer. Two years later we moved again which means my sister had to swap schools again currently in 2026 she’s in the same school but we’ll need to move again soon since my baby brother is now alive and crawling so were goanna need more space or my step-moms, mom moved out and lived with her boyfriend. Then I’ll have my own room and my sister will to well for now... I still go to the same school even though we are basically in Dieppe its cause my mom hasn’t moved anywhere are she’s still in Riverview but I love my homes and maybe I’ll make new friends with our neighbors.
