What Home Means to Me

People might say “home is where you can be yourself, walk around in your underwear” but I think home is more then that. I think it’s where the memories are the happy feeling when you get there. How the cracks in the walls tell stories, that one creaky floorboard, and how their cloud be scrap books and scrap books of memories or stories you can tell. And the place first place I went to after I was born was my home. And I know not all memories are good like the times people can go through, but can still call the place home, and I think that when you go in to the place you call home you will know it. But there are good memorises like when I got my cat or when on new year I stayed up till midnight with my cousins. The time we got are second cat, for my mom’s birthday all she wanted was a cat so that year in 2021 we got her a cat. But what we didn’t know was we bought a scaredy cat. If we even walk past her, she will act like a hungry bear ready to eat her and will run as fast as possible to get away. But over the years I’ve gotten more attached to her, and I don’t know what I would do with out her, she makes me feel like home. When me and my cousins stayed up till midnight, we bagged are parents for days and they finally agreed so we played video games and played board game right until then and then we put the tv on for the count down after I texted my friend and my mom happy new year, and yelled to my street happy new year and then my dad said that we all have to go to bed. And I would like to say that a home and a house are not the same a house has furniture, but a home is more then that a home has love, warmth, and most of all family, and they don’t have to be blood to feel like family they could be a close friend. And I know home means a lot to me and that is why I made this for everyone to see how great home can be and I hope now you see a little more how good a home is.
