Home- My comforting place

Home is my comforting place. It is a place where I feel like myself, where I am open to talk when I am upset or angry. It’s where I could make memories to cherish with loved ones. I feel safe, loved and happy in my protected den, I will be supported no matter what. When I walk into my home, I spot my dog running up to me after waiting all day. The mouthwatering aroma of the food that my mother makes for dinner fills my head with the sight of sitting at the dinner table. Laughing as we talk, enjoying every bite, being grateful to have such a cheerful family. Home is a feeling where my body collides with my soft, fluffy bed, as I lay on it and drift off to sleep. It is a place where I can spill my emotions when I’m upset and not in a great mood. The idea of not being judged and being supported makes me feel fearless at home. My home is as peaceful as my dog. It is a soothing place with loving people.
