THE MEANING OF HOME TO ME

To me, home is a safe place, when I walk into my home, I don’t feel unsafe and depressed. I feel happiness and freedom around me. Home is not just a living place it’s a place where you have a family that encourages you every day. When I see my family- my mom, dad, and my grandma, I feel safe, calm, and relaxed. My home is full of laughter, kindness and a family that cares for me. When the candles are lit in my home, I feel warmth of love with the light around me. Even the sight of the messy shoes by the door is home to me. The feel of soft cushions and my fluffy blanket wrapped over me, is home, it is a fun and happy place. When I think of home, beautiful memories just flash back in my head. When I look at my family, I think that I got put into the right place. To be in a house without a family and love is just like living in a building, but when you're with your family, you feel cherished. I have a question for you; what does home feel like to you?
